There are two types of robocalls- the one that comes from an automated system and plays a recorded message is legal, and the ones that ask for donations, and about political candidates are illegal. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Illegal robocalls can be a scam to steal the identity and money of people. Earlier the Washingtonians could report suspicious calls through the attorney general\u2019s office general consumer complaint form.
